Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Proterate Surveys. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Proterate Surveys lets you build surveys, distribute them by link, QR code, or website embed, collect responses, and view analytics on those responses. It is not a CRM or a helpdesk, and it does not publish reviews to Google, app stores, or marketplaces on your behalf.

Accounts and responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You are responsible for the surveys you publish and the data you collect through them — including telling respondents what you are collecting, obtaining any consent the law requires, and not using the service to gather sensitive personal data you have no lawful basis to hold.
• You must not use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to collect responses under a false or misleading identity.

Plans and limits

The Free plan includes up to 5 surveys, up to 100 responses per survey, basic analytics, conditional logic, and templates. Pro includes unlimited surveys, up to 1,000 responses per survey, advanced analytics, CSV export, webhooks, notifications, and priority support. If you exceed a limit, your existing surveys and responses remain accessible but you cannot create new surveys until you upgrade.

Billing

Paid plans are billed on the cycle agreed when you upgrade and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Your data

Your surveys and the responses you collect belong to you. You can export responses to CSV on Pro and delete surveys or individual responses at any time. We use your data to operate the service, not to build products for anyone else.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the service, or resell it without our written agreement.

Availability and warranty

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.

Changes and contact
