Privacy Policy

Proterate Surveys is a customer feedback product. This policy explains what we collect, how long we keep it, and how it is deleted. It covers this marketing site and the Proterate Surveys application.

Who is responsible for your data

When a business uses Proterate Surveys to collect feedback, that business is the data controller for the responses it gathers. Proterate acts as the data processor and handles those responses on the business’s instructions. If you answered someone’s survey and want your response corrected or removed, contact that business first.

What we collect

• Account details. Name, email, business name, and plan, provided when an account is created.
• Survey responses. The answers a respondent submits, the timestamp, and which survey they came from. Responses are anonymous by default — we do not attach an identity to them unless the survey’s own questions ask for one.
• Site analytics. Aggregate, cookieless page-view statistics on this marketing site. No personal profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.

What we do not collect from respondents

Answering a survey does not require an account, and respondents are not asked to sign in. We do not build advertising profiles from responses, do not sell response data, and do not use one business’s responses to inform another’s reports.

Retention

Survey responses are retained for as long as the account that collected them is active, because they are the customer’s working record — deleting them on a timer would destroy the trend data the product exists to show. Account owners can delete individual responses or an entire survey at any time, which removes the underlying data. When an account is closed, its surveys and responses are deleted.

Who we share with

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with infrastructure providers that host and operate the service on our behalf (hosting, database, object storage, authentication, email delivery, and payment processing), and only to the extent needed to run it. If you configure a webhook, response data is also sent to the endpoint you nominate — that destination is your responsibility.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Respondents should raise these with the business that ran the survey, since it controls those records. You can also contact us at kornkrit.supayanant@gmail.com.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted by account. No system is perfectly secure, but responses are anonymous by default, which limits what an incident could expose.
